Couples Therapy
One of the most complex bonds we form is a committed relationship with another person. Couples seeking therapy often experience feelings of confusion, fear, hurt, anger, resentment, and disappointment—both towards their partner and themselves. Many also grapple with self-blame, guilt, diminished self-esteem, and heightened emotional sensitivity that may trigger unresolved trauma such as abandonment or past betrayals.
In therapy, we will collaboratively examine the impact of unmet expectations, exploring not only their origins but also the underlying narratives that contribute to recurring negative patterns. Couples will develop skills in effective communication, fostering an environment of mutual love, trust, respect, and emotional support. Our goal is to help partners find a path forward, whether together or separately, that honors their individual needs and aspirations.
